Who Are EBS Pest Control?

Since 2002, EBS Ltd have been delivering a comprehensive and inter-related range of services for pest prevention, pest bird control and extreme cleaning services.

With our Head office and training centre in Shenfield, Essex, a mere 20 minutes by train from Liverpool Street, our field based technicians deliver a fast and efficient service, throughout Greater London and the Home Counties with bird control extending throughout Southern England.

The People Who Make it all Happen

We think its nice to put a face to a name - below are the key field personnel who work together to deliver the above services.

Firstly, we have the account management team.  One of these will be your first point of contact with EBS and remain as your management contact throughout all your dealings with us wherever they may be in the country.

David Ellison - Pest Control - 7 years in the industry, BPCA qualified, IOSH health & safety trained.

Richard Baird - Extreme cleaning & bird control services - 24 years experience in the pest control industry. BPCA qualified, bio-hazard trained, IPAF trained for powered access,  IOSH trained to management level for health & safety, fire safety trained.

Martin Langford - One of the founders of EBS 11 years ago, with  22 years pest control experience. He is NEBOSH level 3 trained in health & safety, BPCA qualified and fire safety trained.

Jeff Nelson - Another of the three founders of EBS - A Bird Control Specialist with 21 years experience; Management Diploma, NEBOSH level 3 trained, IPAF qualified, First aid trained, fire safety trained, Pasma trained

Your Pest Control Technicians

Below are the EBS pest technicians  that routinely visit our contractual clients sites or arrive in a hurry if an emergency call-out occurs (e.g. pest sighting) 

They are the everyday faces your site staff will see dealing with any current pest problems or  working with you to prevent one happening in the first place.

Nigel comes from a family background of pest control and wildlife management and is trained for Quality Control audits.

All except Bradley hold the nationally nationally approved Diploma standard of pest control training from the BPCA and between them have in excess of 30 years field experience.

Bradley started with us as a trainee in 2013 and in Novermber 2013 carried out his six day BPCA Diploma course.

Other safety training we provide our field staff includes asbestos awareness, ladder safety, work at height, manual handling, fit testing for face masks as well as general health & safety at work. All are CSCS cardholders

All our pest control service team are CRB checked for your peace of mind.

'The Bird Team'

...Is what they are informally known as in-house - they install our pigeon deterrent systems across London and Southern England generally.

Danny Baker (in the middle) and Jonathon Reed (right) are full time installers, whilst John Dixon on the left holds a dual role of pest control technician and bird proofing installer.

Trade qualifications between them include SSSTS for the construction industry,  IOSH safety training, BPCA (pest  control industry standard) qualified, IPAF qualified for cherrypickers,  PASMA qualified for alloy towers, safety harness foundation course,  first aid trained, abrasive wheel trained (for cutting/grinding) as well as asbestos awareness, ladder safety and CSCS cardholders.

Between them, their capabilities range from the most straight-forward work on residential flats andl houses up to complicated pigeon nets in Heathrow Airport Hangars or 1.2km of Avishock bird deterrent on a high profile Leisure Centre development on the South Coast.

'The Office'

Key personnel which support the service team and provide office based client support are Jackie Ruggles, Office Manager and Paul Stanley, Service Director.

Paul has 26 years of pest control experience and is one of the three company founders.  

Jackie has been with us for over seven years,  is also BPCA trained and works with Paul to ensure service levels are maintained and clients remain happy.

Well, that's us...we're a friendly bunch that have been around for this long because we've got the right staff doing a good job at a sensible price.
