Anti-Bird Spikes

Probably the most commonly seen bird proofing systems in the Country - They are favourites up and down High Streets everywhere thanks largely to their proven effectiveness and ease of installation.

Adaptations areavailable that let them sit securely on gutters, peaked ridges and beams, around chimney pots and more.

They are effective against pigeon sized birds with a larger version for Seagulls.

Different versions are suited to individual areas and if inappropriate gaps are left, the birds can sometimes overcome them.

Also, rain-water run off needs to be considered and if trees are nearby, shedding leaves can become trapped and render them useless...not so much a problem here as easy to reach, but imagine if these spikes were three, four floors up or more - probably quite costly to put right.
